An introduction to Sol-Tec
Established in 1992 and from a humble start in a converted garage, Sol-Tec is now a firmly established and respected UK reseller, with a reputation for quality and financial stability.
After a sustained period of growth (featuring in the 1999 Sunday Times fast track 100) Sol-Tec now serves some of Britain’s largest companies, but still remains true to its culture of friendly and efficient customer service for everyone.
Whilst Technology has always been the primary focus and in such Sol–Tec has attained prestigious accreditations from leading vendors including HP, Microsoft and VMware. There has always been considerable emphasis placed on the financial implications, for our customer, on the technology we propose.
It is also recognised that experience, skill and continuity very much add to the ease in which customers can transact with Sol-Tec and thus, retaining key staff is essential. In 2001 an EMI share scheme was set up to ensure that these employees had a stake in the company. This scheme has gone a long way to achieve the desired continuity but in addition it has also created a greater sense of teamwork that is reflected in our customer service.
