Sol-Tec Ltd is a leading provider of network-related products and services to UK based companies across a range of industries. Our key areas of expertise lie in Network Infrastructure, IT Support, Virtualisation and Backup/Restore Computing. 80% of the customers we started out with are still with us today. This is largely owed to our honest, friendly and reliable approach to business.
Background
Sol-Tec has been established since 1992 and has always operated from the Reading area. From humble beginnings in a garage; Sol-Tec now enjoy a multimillion pound turnover, high customer retention and an ever growing revenue contribution from technical services. And we have managed to achieve growth in all but one of the 10 years since our inception and in 1999 we featured in the Sunday Times fast track 100 for Britain’s fastest growing companies.
During this period of growth we have managed to be featured in the Sunday Times Fast Track 100 as well as attaining accreditations from the industry’s leading vendors including HP, Microsoft and VMware.
We have also retained a majority of our key members of staff developing them as individuals as we ourselves improve. In 2001 we set up our own EMI share scheme to ensure that our staff profit from Sol-Tec’s success. This shared ownership gives us a great sense of teamwork, which we feel is reflected in our customer service at all levels of the organisation.
