The Waste Electronic and Electrical Equipment Regulations
Sol-Tec are fully compliant with The Waste Electronic and Electrical Equipment Regulations (WEEE Directive).
Together with our partners, we are monitoring the introduction of legislation in, in particular the recycling targets that will need to be met by the United Kingdom.
We are closely monitoring the proposals being put to the UK government, and analysing what they will mean in practise for our business.
We have selected our disposal partners on the clear basis that there procedures always comply with the WEEE Directive.
In addition to the WEEE Directive, we are also looking at the implications of other upcoming legislation, such as:
- Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive
- Special Waste Regulations
- Ozone Depleting Substances Regulation
- Batteries Directive
- Landfill Directive
We feel these will all have far-reaching implications on the way UK companies carry out their business.
