Hardware Asset Management
Managing and maintaining hardware warranties can be a time consuming task. Selecting the most appropriate warranty upgrade, registering warranties, keeping abreast of which warranties are ending will take up valuable time for an IT team.
Sol-Tec have been providing hardware asset management services for over 15 years using efficiently managing vendor warranties. All warranties are entered into our asset database, Pathway, which gives immediate access to specific information about the warranty type, expiry date and which asset the warranty covers.
You will be provided with a single telephone number and a web based portal to log, view and add comments to any of your support calls. Sol-Tec will manage the whole logging, chasing and closing process for you. All actions taken are recorded on our helpdesk software, Oxygen, with email confirmations being sent directly to you. As your warranties age, Sol-Tec will give you ‘countdown’ notice of their expiry at 90, 60 and 30 days.
Complete reporting is provided monthly showing all calls logged, the hardware asset that was faulty, the problem, actions taken and the resolution provided.
