SC Cleared Project Manager

We are Sol-Tec, a Microsoft Cloud Gold Partner and we are looking to add one Technical Project Manager to our rapidly growing cloud team in Telford.

Our ideal candidate will have a technical knowledge/experience of Azure and Office 365 as well as experience of working with Agile/ Prince2 methodologies. We are looking for a candidate with 5-6 years’ proven experience delivering Cloud and Infrastructure projects in the Public Sector.

Role and Responsibilities

You must be able to manage multiple cloud service projects with top-down oversight, throughout entire execution to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timeline. You will need to develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with our goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases, from initiation through implementation to closure.
Make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables. You will communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements
Analyse economics of project plans and provide actionable feedback relating to cost benefit and return-on-investment standards.
Review proposed modifications on project plans, including meeting with interested parties to approve and implement beneficial changes.

Technical Skills

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience
Extensive leadership experience and strong teaming abilities
Excellent problem-solving skills
Minimum 3/4 years’ management experience in the IT field, including development work.
Ideally, working knowledge of at least one common programming and scripting language (Java, C#, PowerShell)
