Mission Motorsports’ Productivity

Mission Motorsport, the Forces’ Motorsport charity, was formed in 2012 to aid in the recovery and rehabilitation of those affected by military operations by providing opportunities through motorsport.

Mission Motorsport provides respite, rehabilitation, vocational support and training to those affected by military operations.  They’re also Relationship Managers to the automotive industry for vocational opportunities for the wounded, injured and sick.

Challenges
Motorsport staff and volunteers are located across the UK to ensure that they best meet the needs of the beneficiaries at all times.

By mid-2016 the charity had grown to such an extent that they needed to look at a far more robust and flexible IT solution to enable their personnel to extend their reach and help rehabilitate more injured servicemen and women across the country.

As the charity grew it became increasingly difficult to share information efficiently, keeping both employees and volunteers informed and able to share and utilise resources.

Solution
Sol-Tec recommended Office 365 to ensure that each user not only benefited from the latest version of MS Office, but also introduced SharePoint for increased team collaboration, diary management and document sharing.

Office 365 solved a number of significant problems for Mission Motorsport. Firstly, it ensured that all users had access to Microsoft Office and were using compliant and up to date software. Secondly, the use of Outlook and Outlook Web Access for those away from their usual machines further streamlined ease of communications and personnel availability. Thirdly, the introduction of SharePoint enabled efficient document management and diary management including the scheduling of assets such as meeting rooms and pool vehicles.
